Anna Morgan (née Greenhalgh) F.I.S.T.D. A.R.A.D
Anna trained at the Deborah Capon College, and was also heavily influenced by her time training and working in America. She worked with Terpsichore Entertainment in New York for a number of years on various projects in theatre and television, later becoming their UK talent representative, as well as using her industry knowledge and experience to develop herself as a teacher. Anna ran her own school, the Hasland Dance Studios, for 6 years, where she particularly focussed on creating a strong pre-professional stream, preparing students for future training and careers in the industry. During this time Anna achieved her Licentiate and Fellowship qualifications with the ISTD, became an approved tutor for all units of the DDI and DDE teaching qualifications, and became a mututally recognised teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance.
Anna is now a freelance teacher and choreographer who is passionate about building the level of technique and artistry within UK dance training and preparing students for the high standards required in today's industry. She choreographs productions and teaches Ballet, Contemporary and Audition Preparation workshops worldwide, trains the elite students as the Hasland Dance Studios, is an adjudicator for the British and International Federation of Festivals, and runs her own ISTD teacher training courses. Anna spent a number of years on the Ballet faculty at Performers College and since 2016 has been a Ballet tutor at another of the UK's leading colleges for professional dance training; Bird College. Anna is currently collaborating with American dance company, Nickerson-Rossi Dance, on their International Dance Tour in London, Summer 2020.
